The Clifton String Quartet

Clifton Strings were founded in 2000 and have been performing all over the South West (as a string quartet, string trio and duo) ever since.  We are one of the South West’s most experienced and longest standing ensembles, and as such, we bring our huge experience to ensure we can help create the perfect accompaniment to any event or wedding. 

We have played at venues ranging from the beautiful historic venues across the region, to tiny village churches, hotels, cathedrals and even at a local swimming pool.

The players are professional musicians from across the South West , trained at the top conservatoires and widely experienced in performing in concerts, recitals and a wide variety of functions.  

The repertoire is wide ranging and can be fully adapted to every event.  We pride ourselves on being able to use our vast experience to advise on the best music for your wedding or event and enjoy discussing your wishes and requirements and wherever possible, sourcing the perfect music to accompany your event.
